The question
How much of a satellite power budget can you reason about without leaving a browser tab?
Orbital and power analysis usually lives in heavy desktop tooling. I wanted to see how far a small, fast web tool could get.
What it does today
Live at spaceai.tonycletus.com. You set satellite mass, panel area and orbit altitude, and it computes the physics live.
- Daily power generation from panel area, with a surplus or deficit verdict
- Sunlight uptime across the orbit, including continuous-sunlight cases
- Orbital period, orbits per day, and velocity
- A live orbit view scaled against Earth
- Thirty-day power analysis and net energy surplus charts
Why I built it
I wanted a working intuition for the tradeoff between mass, panel area and altitude, and building the model was faster than reading about it.
