About Me

I am Tony Cletus, a builder and educator passionate about shaping the future of African tech talent. I founded Programmify to give students the kind of practical, hands-on experience I wished I had when starting out. What began as me paying interns from my own pocket has grown into a platform that equips young people not just to be job ready, but to think and act like product builders and founders.

My journey started in a small hometown in Nigeria with no roadmap, just grit and curiosity. I dropped out twice, taught myself to code through YouTube, and later earned my BSc and MSc while working with startups across two countries. Today, I use those experiences to mentor, teach, and build platforms that empower the next generation of African engineers and innovators.
